I am amazed how much more content is added and how much more options a player has now. With all the changes I decided to do an Aztec run (that still needs to be completed for the achievement) to get my bearings again.

Down below will be a current state of my game.Īfter some other games since 1.13 I made a return to EU4 on patch 1.23. The progress is good enough that I am certain of completing this easily. Despite not being finished and complete, I decided to put this up already since many players start new games then. This guide is done on the Japan patch 1.24, but 1.25 is coming up this week. Many things I used and did back then still applied on this Ryukyu run that suite my playing style. For more info on this run check my guide that despite many major changes to the game, is in basic still a viable guide with used tactics and methods for the goal of world conquest. Three Mountains means similar difficulty and issues you come across. The run was a success and main reason for picking the Netherlands was that despite a different kind of start and run, it still would be a great challenge due to the difficult starting position for the goal of world conquest. Starting as Utrecht this was to lay a foundation for a solid Ryukyu run on a later moment besides some achievements.
